We've added new shows for the Summer Season!
We kicked off the party last Friday at Avila Beach Mr. Rick's / Custom House Farmer's Market Beach Party and it was so fun we continued into the weekend for Cinco de Mayo at Pomar Junction. We braved a few rain drops and the food from Shav N Flav was magnificent. The wine, of course, is delightful out there and we hope to return soon. So, what's up this weekend, you ask? MORE FUN! Of course!
We start at The Cliff's for their 50's Ice Cream Social (I'm sure booze might be involved, too, heheh... ) at Marisol. We'll be inside performing and it promises to be an amazing oceanside day from 4:00PM - 7:00PM Thursday, May 9, 2019.
We've even got Scott cue'd up to do a few fun 50's rockin' numbers for you, including Bossa Nova Baby, Little Less Conversation, and Hound Dog!
Maybe we'll sneak some 60's tunes in as well, such as Can't Take My Eyes Off You... the rest will be our usual mayhem of Cuban, Bossa, Boogaloo, Swing, Fun! We might sneak in some of our Kid Creole set just for fun, as well!

Saturday, May 25, 12 - 3PM - bringing back the special show with the QUINTET at DOLPHIN BAY RESORT!
Our last beach party was so successful we're doing it again! The Black Market Quintet, also known as Scott Andrews and the "Problem Solvers" (inside joke) includes Scott on vocal, saxes, bongos, timbales, hand percussion, and keyboard; Talia Ortega, vocal, alto sax, flute; Shawn Collins, Vibraphone; James Gallardo, Acoustic & Electric Bass; and Darrell Voss on drums, bongos, and congas. This particular lineup brings so much fun you don't want to miss it. We cover "Havana Nights" with songs like Havana, Bang Bang, Oye Como Va, Dos Gardenias, and many more Cuban, Brazilian, favorites. We also play some fun New Orleans numbers, like I Had a Good Night and Get It In by the Brassaholics, and other standards like Darktown Strutters Ball. Last, we've added a set of Kid Creole & The Coconuts tunes to let the party good times roll.
For this event, you will LOVE where we're playing, at the elegant Dolphin Bay Resort... on the cliff patio we'll have wine and most likely yummy hors d'oervres.
You just can't beat it. We play from Noon to 3PM, so wear your sunscreen and sunglasses and come prepared to dance!
